As far as the quality of the printing that's put out by the 4100tn, most experts rated as very nice. Copy will come out looking sharp, clear and crisp due to the 1200 dpi print resolution. Indeed, just about any workgroup needing a quality monochrome workhorse would be glad to have the 4100tn on the job and ready to put out as many jobs as it's asked to print at any one time.

The 4100tn also has standard duplex printing capabilities, meaning that it will be able to accomplish double-sided printing jobs as well as most other standard print tasks. It can also handle over 110 different fonts and the included 250 MHz QED processor will ensure that the variety of print jobs sent to it at the same time will be prioritized and then moved through the line quickly.

Included memory is also typical of a Hewlett-Packard workgroup printer, coming in at 32 MB of RAM. This can be upgraded to a full 256 MB, if needed. Depending on the print needs of the workgroup which will be served by the 4100tn, it just may be that it won't be necessary to have the printer upgraded when it comes to RAM. Check with the local IT specialist to see if this will be the case.

After spending a few minutes looking at all of the capabilities and functions of the HP LaserJet 4100tn printer, it's clear that it would make a decent candidate for just about any workgroup or small-to-medium-sized business. It features solid performance, durability and reliability along with a price tag ($220 for a refurbished unit) that is hard to beat. Additionally, it has low maintenance and operating costs and the copy it puts out is uniformly excellent. In all, there's a lot to like about the 4100tn.

The LaserJet 4100tn cartridge absolutely contributes to the uniform excellence of the printed page. No surprise here, considering the quality of all HP toner. Finding replacement toner online is easy and the competitive prices are great.
